Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991)

$112,000.00

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991) is a track-oriented Porsche 991 first shown at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

It produces more power than that of the GT3 (991), and that of the previous generation GT3 RS (997.2). It is also the first mainstream production 911 GT3 to be fitted with a 4-litre engine, as opposed to that fitted in the limited production GT3 RS 4.0 (997).

Various improvements were made to the RS model, over the previous GT3 (991), with increased downforce, marked up grip, and sharper handling being the top three points of advancement. The altered components of the RS have lightened it by 10kg over the GT3, improved its aerodynamics to near motorsport downforce, improved stability, and an flatter torque curve.

It is fitted with the Turbo (991)’s rear body panels, a perspex rear window, a magnesium roof, carbon fibre front wings, a carbon fibre bonnet, a carbon fibre bootlid, altered anti-roll bars, and a shortened final drive ratio.

Interior alterations include a set of 918 Spyder inspired bucket seats, a six-point harness, a roll cage, lightened door handles, an optional battery master switch, a fitted fire extinguisher, and Michelin Cup tyres developed specifically for the GT3 RS.
